Richard and Jan , your French speaking English hosts warmly welcome you to 'La Chouette', their renovated house and converted barn in the heart of the Limousin, central France.  Whether you’re on your way north or south for a holiday elsewhere, or enjoying a short break or a longer stay in this beautiful region, we’ll be pleased to welcome you.

‘La Chouette’ is set in a very peaceful location in beautiful countryside, yet is only eight and ten minutes drive respectively from Eymoutiers and Châteuneuf la Forêt, our nearest towns and just over half an hour's drive from the A20 autoroute and Limoges to the west.  Frequent Ryanair and Flybe flights from several airports in the UK mean that we are easily accessible for a

weekend or midweek break, in beautiful surroundings offering first-class food and hospitality.

We have five comfortable guest bedrooms, each with its en-suite shower room, a dining room, a sitting room and a large garden where you can sit, relax and enjoy the sun.

 

What better way to end the day than to join Richard, a retired professional chef, Jan and guests at the ‘table d’hôtes’ for a

mouth-watering four course dinner?  No need to worry about the drive home - you’re already there!
